We are pleased to announce that Ruleguard version 4.71.0 is now live!
This update contains the following changes:
Attestation enhancement - update subject
- Attestations with prompts and responses configured are now able to update their subjects, when a response type is 'same as prompt'. This was previously only possible via event workflow steps with prompts and responses enabled.
General Improvements & Enhancements
- Updated the component responsible for the FCA Register matrix, better enabling navigation and column management.
- Preparatory changes made to the inbox to support future workflows.
- Preparatory changes made to allow tasks to be used on future workflows, separated from Issue tasks.
- A User configuring an Issues staging workflow, now has control over whether the 'view all fields' function is available to the User on each stage of the workflow.
- By default Stages have their Fields set as 'customised' whereby Fields can be configure to be visible or not visible, be made editable or non-editable, and be made mandatory or non-mandatory'.
- Disabling this will display instead 'all Fields.
- Users can now option the ability to view 'All Fields'
- Doing so will enable a User to be able to toggle to a view of all 'Issue Fields'. This can be optioned to any Stage where a User being able to see the entire Issues dataset would provide useful or important context.
- Note: This represents a change to existing behaviour, so please review Issue Workflows where the 'All Fields' context is still required and apply the toggle accordingly.
- By default Stages have their Fields set as 'customised' whereby Fields can be configure to be visible or not visible, be made editable or non-editable, and be made mandatory or non-mandatory'.
- The Statement of Responsibilities template has been extended to include: Version number, Person name, Exported from Ruleguard, and Page number.
- The Statement of Responsibilities template may optionally include version comments.
- The comparison of Statement of Responsibilities shows differences using red and green highlights once more when printed.
- Data library filters corrected to return results when filtering with an open-ended date range.
- Corrected an issue that allowed watcher notifications to be sent to users before they had activated their account.
- Corrected an issue with Issue Stage Permissions whereby a tightly 'scoped' Permission Role e.g. limiting a role to only see certain Stages as a Stage User for a given Issue Type, was still giving that User access to see other Issues and Stages where they were also a Stage User.
