We are pleased to announce that Ruleguard version 4.31.0 is now live!
This update contains the following changes:
Feature Spotlight: Enhanced Reject Tasks
-
Extended the Task Reject feature to enable any User with permission to see a completed Event (including a Recipient User if shared), to be able to request that a Task is 'Rejected' (i.e., rerun).
-
Relevant sign-off Owners will receive an email and Inbox entry to ‘Approve’ or ‘Deny’ such Requests, adding return notes to this decision.
-
Includes relevant amendments to the Inbox, Emails, Event matrices, Issues API and MI Tables.
-
Please note: Requests will be approved or denied by the most 'senior' sign-off Owner (i.e. the Owner at the top of the 'chain' where a 'rejection review' Hierarchy exists, depending on configuration settings).
-
General Improvements & Fixes
-
Improved the Issues API logic around handling of Restricted Fields.
-
Enhanced the support of specific (trusted) special characters to handle emails generated by Global Requirements Module 'Subscriptions' that introduced these.
-
Added an email sent to a User's registered address when their login has been blocked due to too many failed attempts.
-
Increased the security requirement for Passwords to be at least 14 characters for new accounts and resets to ensure aligned with latest best practices.
-
Resolved an issue whereby Requirement Update permissions were vigorously enforcing View & Edit Requirement Permissions to be able to Accept Updates, by relaxing the requirements to require View Requirement Update (e.g. as a Stage User) only to permit this.
-
Resolved an issue whereby Certifications using Workflows with specific settings performed in a specific order was generating duplicate rows for a given Certification Function within a specified Legal Entity.
-
Resolved an issue whereby a User was unable to edit Unrestricted Fields where a combination of Restricted and Unrestricted Field Groups were used in specific use-cases.
-
Resolved an issue whereby an MI Chart created for Users- Registered by User Type was not returning the correct last login information.
