We are pleased to announce that Ruleguard version 3.38 is now live!
This update contains the following changes:
Oversight
-
Added text and background colour controls, as well as a page break feature, to RM 'free content' sections
-
(The page break will control where the PDF export of the RM document moves to the next page.)
-
Extended how the 'View person' permission works when you use the 'Own functions' and 'Specific functions' options
-
Previously, a person was considered to belong to a function if they were mapped to it in the Organisation Design and/or Reporting Lines views on Ruleguard
-
Now, we've added two additional ways a person can belong to a function:
-
1) If it is a legal entity and they are "Employed By" it according to that field on their person screen; and
-
2) if it is a legal entity and they have a job role belonging to it
-
A person will now be considered part of a function if any or all of these situations are true, affecting who is displayed when a permission gives access to a function as well as what your "own" functions are if that option is chosen.
-
Extended the 'legal entities' column on the person matrix to respect the same logic outlined above
-
Added a legal entity picker on the person screen
-
This will filter various parts of the page to show information from the selected entity only.
-
An indicator will appear to show you which sections are being filtered when this option is used.
-
Added a visual indicator (a small blue clock) in various places to highlight where information (such as a job role) begins in the future
-
Modified the default sort order for records to show the most recent first instead of the oldest first.
-
Remove the deprecated 'approved' SOR status for draft SORs (this is no longer applicable)
